Biography of Elder Curtis Leaks III

Elder Curtis Leaks was born to Curtis and the late Reva Leaks on June 4, 1970 in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a product of Memphis City Schools, being a proud graduate of Memphis Central High School, Class of 1988.

He is a graduate of Bethel University with a bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Organizational Management. He is currently working on his Master’s in Human Resources at Belhaven University.

He was ordained to preach the gospel in 1997, under the leadership of the late Bishop Charles E. Cartwright. He was employed for 22 years at Shelby County Schools in administration. He is presently employed at Shelby County Schools as a Family Specialist at Ross Elementary School.

In July of 2005, he founded Second Chance Fellowship Church where he has served as Pastor for 11 years. He is a member of the NAACP and a Mentor for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Inc. He also serves as a liaison with Christ Community Health Services.

He is the proud father of four (Elaina, Brandon, Antionette and Antwan). He's the Pawpaw to Zyon London.
